The beachside Social House 111 at Hua Hin’s 5-star InterContinental Residences was the location of the 2022 SKÅL Hua Hin & Cha Am AGM.

Club President Stacey Walton greeted Skålleagues and special guest, Ms. Heike Garcon-Suiheran, International Councillor Skal International Thailand to the cocktail and dinner. 

Special thanks were extended to Joseph Della Gatta, GM of InterContinental Resort & Spa, Hua Hin for hosting the venue and Mr. Mark Sittl, GM of The Standard and Mr. Thomas Hain, GM of Holiday Inn Resort Vana Nava, potential new members.

The evening’s agenda included an update on the mission and values of SKÅL International as well as a status report on club membership and board positions current vacant.

Meanwhile, President Stacey highlighted the theme of the recent SKÅL International Thailand AGM in Phuket wherein “sustainability” was the main topic. The meeting had included sessions on best practices and shared experiences in hotel management, with the overall mission to improve society, economy, and environment. He also emphasized on the importance of using SKÅL as a platform to conduct business amongst friends and shared with all the networking advantages leading to potential business between members.
