SKÅL International Phuket to Host Thailand’s Iconic Elephant Parade in June 2023

 SKÅL International Phuket will play host to Thailand’s celebrated ‘Elephant Parade’ for the month of June 2023. 

The ‘Phuket Elephant Parade’ will be the world’s largest exhibition of decorated elephant sculptures, which will be on display at different hotels, resorts and tourism venues around  the island.  Following the exhibition, the elephant statues will be auctioned at a special event, with proceeds going to the Elephant Family organization.

Fans and supporters of Thailand’s Elephant Parade include billionaire Sir Richard Branson, actors Goldie Hawn and Joanna Lumley, superstar singers Katy Perry and Celine Dion who have helped to raise millions of Thai Baht towards the preservation of the Asian elephant.

SKÅL International Phuket, President Francois Laing said: “The colourfully painted elephants will raise international awareness of the work SKÅL International Phuket undertakes to rebuild Phuket’s profile as Thailand’s leading tourist destination following the challenges of the past few years.”
